seattle's Women's wind band

   
Our time has arrived.
​Formation Wind Band is Seattle's first women's wind band.
It is an opportunity for us to collaborate, create, and build community.

wind ensemble auditions are now open

Here are the details:
  • Auditions are open to all instruments
  • Audio only recorded audition submissions due July 31st @ 11:59pm
  • Audition materials are linked here
  • Erin and Anne will review auditions blindly and score them independently
  • The combined score will be used to rank submissions
  • Notifications sent by August 15 to all applicants
  • Fall 2026 dates: 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29, 12/5 (evening rehearsal), 12/6 concert (Sunday afternoon)
  • Spring 2027 dates: 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/15 concert (Saturday evening)
