Cycle 9 Guest Conductor

Formation Wind Band's Guest Conductor Program builds upon our mission of empowering women by inviting members to develop their musical and leadership skills on the podium. One woman will be chosen to conduct a piece with Wind Ensemble this term alongside Anne and Erin. Repertoire will be assigned after the conductor has been chosen.
Minimum of one previous term with the band required. Please send any questions to [email protected].

The guest conductor will be expected to:
  • Study, rehearse, and perform their piece at the June 14th concert
  • Collaborate and discuss goals and progress with Anne and Erin after each rehearsal
  • Be present for all Wind Ensemble rehearsals
  • Attend every rehearsal in the concert cycle with the exception of emergencies

Guest Conductor applications due April 1st, 2026
